Masterclass

Three applicants will be recommended to perform in a masterclass on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Colburn School.   Applicants will be notified by email in December.

 ViolaFest is open to students of all levels in fourth through twelfth grades with at least 6 months playing experience, and to adult auditors. you can apply online or by sending in the registration form in this brochure. Early Bird Registration ends on December 17, 2016.  After this date through on-site registration is $55 each.

Student registration $45 includes a free ViolaFest T-shirt, participation in all events and a one year student membership in the Southern California Viola Society.

Auditor registration $45 is open to any adult educator, teacher, parent or musician who wishes to participate as an observer. Auditors may attend all classes, performances and are welcome to play in a small viola ensemble by Level.

Violinists are welcome a limited number of violas will be made available for the day for violinists to participate.  Mark your application.

Limited financial aid is available for students to cover all or a portion the $45 registration fee. It is available on a first come, first serve basis. If you wish to be considered, please include a letter from your parents with your application.
